In 2005 nonexpendable eyed spatula needles for ophthalmology were set in production:
- 3 SH 0,15x6,5;
- З SH 0,2x6,5;
- З SH 0,3x7,5;
- З SH 0,35x9
These needles are used during surgical operations in cases of thread breakage or its dropping out of the needle (items 62, 63, 64, 65 in the price-list)
Eye Microsurgery & Kontur Ltd. is the only one producer of ophthalmic double- channel cannulas for eye aspiration and irrigation. The multi-use cannulas are made from metal by method of Galvan plastics. They are used for aspiration of crystalline lens masses with simultaneous irrigation by moisture-replacing fluids during extracapsullar extraction of cataract. (item 66 in the price-list).
In January 2006 Eye Microsurgery & Kontur Ltd. set serial production of needles for aspiration/irrigation with the diameter of 0,3mm; 0,4 mm; 0,5 mm; for phacoemulsificators of the firm Alcon: Infiniti ; Ассо rus ; Universal I , II ; Legasi . (item 69 in the price-list).
Since October 2005 we are producing special atraumatic ophthalmic needles with the suture material for intraocular lens (implant) fixation. These needles are made of special ultrastrong steel for medical purposes and non-absorbable suture with high properties. The needles are used for suturing the iris along with the intraocular lens to the sclera. (items 76…87 in the price-list).
We are producing sorption material for wound handling “Tupfer-Kontur”, which have rhombic shape. The material has good sorption properties. It is used for wound effluent removal including blood.
Sterile acupuncture needles are set in production.
